Premium Board Cart / Bag Efoilsolutions ® with Wheels

We are often asked if our EfoilSolutions™ Efoil Carts can be used with Balloon Wheels. Our carts are provided with 14” All-Terrain wheels.  These wheels are excellent when pulling or pushing the cart over hard surfaces, rough terrain, and beach sand. However, 10” Balloon Wheels are available (sold separately here with longer axle).  The balloon wheels will give you somewhat better performance over deep, soft sand.  Balloon wheels are NOT recommended for any terrain, other than deep sand.  You will be better off with the all-terrain wheels if you travel over multiple surfaces and have only short commutes over deep unconsolidated sand. We’ve tested and compared the two wheel types in deep coral sand, level ground.  The difference in pull force at constant walking speed was 4-8 lbs lower, using balloon wheels.  (Note that results may vary depending on the sand type, slope, etc.). For surfaces other than deep sand, the cart performs significantly better using the All-Terrain wheels.
